We use the traditional cold process method. Cold process is the original and traditional method of making soap by combining fat or oil (animal or plant based) with sodium hydroxide (lye) then blending in addition of essential oils and colorants as required. This treatment causes a chemical reaction called saponification which takes up to 48 hours.
Simply put: organic soaps are healthier for your body. The natural products and ingredients that are sourced and used in a handmade soap bar are what our body and skin are trained to expect. They also cleanse and moisturize our skin naturally. This is in stark contrast to the bar or liquid soap that is mass-produced.
